Currently, there are 313 Million LinkedIn Profiles and nearly half of those profiles are decision makers for their company.
Is LinkedIn a “fad” and how long will it be before innovation replaces it with creative technology?
LinkedIn is a reflection of your personality. You are UNIQUE in that crowd of 313 Million members and it is that “uniqueness” that will transform your “marketability” into creative technology during the 2020’s and 2030’s.
Secondly, LinkedIn profiles are detailed resumes with many specific “KEYWORDS”. Hiring recruiters use a tracking system that identifies certain “key words” which allows the hiring manager to connect with your LinkedIn Profile. Otherwise, your profile will be floating in cyberspace among 313 million profiles.
More importantly, keywords are in a state of “FLUX” constantly changing over time with new words and phrases along with new methodologies and certifications. Keywords are a dynamic process.
LinkedIn Profiles are an art as well as a science. It is important that you master both.

Most businesses will spend over a BILLION dollars during 2015 recruiting top talent using LinkedIn. Thousands of employers will use LinkedIn’s flagship recruiting product, “Recruiter Corporate”. LinkedIn employs commissioned sales people to sell this product in the form of annual subscriptions to employers and to recruiters.
Recruiter Corporate is extremely complex and different from all other LinkedIn accounts and very little is known about it.
We advise to keep things simple by using the “KISS” method, “Keep it Short and Simple”.
What we do know about “Recruiter Corporate” is that it is NOT designed to connect “ready-to-work” workers with an employer. Here’s why, active job seekers (meaning those who currently hold a job), use key words such as “seeking”, “available” and “looking”, etc. (Seeking advancement, available for new challenges, looking to advance my career). These workers must give notice to their current employer.
As a general rule, a person who is without a job will find it more difficult to get hired but there are exceptions.
There are employers who are looking for workers who don’t have a job and who are immediately available to start work. “Recruiter Corporate” does NOT meet this employer need.
If you are a “ready-to-work” worker, you should use LinkedIn sparingly and upload your resume to sites such as INDEED RESUME SERVICE, indeed.com/resumes, monster.com and dice.com. Dice is a website designed for technology professionals.
